As an annual collaboration between the female filmmakers’ community FFF (Feminist Filmmakers Forever) and a female musician, eight filmmakers created a music video for Lang Lee’s song If I Were God, in which Lang voices her frustration with the climate crisis in the context of everyday life.

With “God” portrayed by the artist herself, the filmmakers question the role of divinity in the world, at times depicting her as a demon. Using the sphere (circle) as a recurring symbol, each segment of the video is uniquely connected through compelling visual storytelling.

I served as the executive director, coordinating among the filmmakers to unify their diverse ideas and inspirations into one cohesive vision. At the same time, I directed the finale of the music video (02:58–03:33), incorporating cult-like imagery in the woods to reinforce the song’s message and concept.
